Complement your résumé with a well structured selection criteria
Selection Criteria Service
CUSTOMISED SELECTION CRITERIA HIGHLIGHTING YOUR QUALITIES, SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE
Key selection criteria (KSC) are typically used in the Australian Public Sector by Government agencies across all levels, from Local and State to Federal, as well as in the education and not-for-profit sector. A well-written, correctly structured selection criteria statement that showcases your skills, knowledge, qualifications and achievements is your key to getting noticed and securing an interview.
Each selection criteria that we write is customised for you and to the role. We use appropriate keywords and specific examples that accurately respond to the questions, while taking into account the role description and the Integrated Leadership System (ILS), which is the APS capability framework. When responding to the selection criteria, we make sure that each answer is maximum half a page long (in between 250-300 words), as the selection panel often has limited time to go through every applicant.
Please note: Other APS roles would require either a statement of claims (usually maximum of 2 pages) or a pitch (1-2 pages). This type of service falls under our cover letter service.

Selection Criteria Writing Service
We provide personalised consultation to craft your selection criteria statement that gets noticed by your prospective employers. Here’s how our service works:
Send us your existing documents including your current resume and old selection criteria. Also send us the link to the role you’re interested to apply for, which should include the selection criteria to be addressed and the closing date of the application.
Once we have received your files, we may make an initial contact via phone or email for clarifications and/or to flesh out relevant achievements. Full payment will need to be made upfront to confirm you booking and before we proceed with any work.
Once we have all the information, we’ll work on the first draft. If there’s anything else we need to know, we will get in touch via phone/email or you’re welcome to email us anything through the process.
You’ll receive your draft documents via email within the next 3 days (except Sunday as we are closed) for your review. You’ll have 14 days upon receiving your first draft to request for additional amendments. Read about our policy on amendments here.
Once you’ve made your review of your new documents, we then make those changes in less than 24 hours (Sunday excluded).
